While I am no doctor or therapist, I have learned a few things along the way about anxiety and depression.  One of the biggest lessons I've learned and witnessed is that if you don't control it, it will control you.

I want to help you identify the SEASONS in your life where anxiety or mental shifts occur in your life, when you feel downward spirals, and you struggle to get a handle on it.  First, always seek help when you need it, from a professional, I always lead with this.  As a Coach, I love helping people move forward and find solutions so they can accomplish their goals.

Here are some steps to help reduce or eliminate anxiety and feelings of depression: Say A Prayer, Exercises: Deep Breathing and Movement, Anchoring - an action that elevates your mood like clapping, fist pump, and affirmations (say I’m amazing, worthy, etc, shoulder up/back, learned some of this from Tony Robbins), Senses - 5 Senses to ground: touch cold water or ice, smell diffuser or candle, eyes/see funny video or things that make you happy, taste something healthy and good, listen to music (consider no words) instrumental, Oasis of a Health Environment- Eat healthy, take vitamins, water, have a peaceful space, lights, Numbers Game - Count Backwards (as Mel Robbins teaches), count your blessings/gratitude, and Scripture Memorization/Meditation- repeat/recite ie: 2 Timothy 1:7 - For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Take your time, try some, try one, try all...do what helps you get your life back.  Finally, do an assessments of things or people that trigger you and determine next steps.
