In this episode I share 4 steps you can take now to begin to heal from hurt, pain, and disappointments.  

  1. Identify who, what, when, where, why, and how! Journal, write it out, talk it you can work it out. 
  2. Forgive! The first chapter of my book I talk about about forgiveness and you can get it for free.  Go to my website to get your free copy  Also Episode 6 is all about forgiveness. 
  3. Process!  Understand why and what has happened is important.  Have a support system whether it's family, friend, therapist, or a coach...get plugged in to someone. Letting go and declutter your life of what holds you down. And REST! Find time to be alone and have quiet time.  
  4. Shift! Don't stay stuck in the same place.  Shift your thinking, shift your body, shift your plans.  Learn from this time, practice gratitude, hold on to your faith, and think positive thoughts.  Staying stuck on the problem or negative will only give you just that. 

Galatians 6:9-10 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 

Many have struggled during this pandemic, many have died to this virus and violence to the black community.  But many have also come together, in love and compassion.
