We experience many failures in life but many times through these failures we find purpose, we find calling, we find where we are destined to be. Walter Virgil Jr. shares his amazing story of being one of the Top 10 Quarterbacks in the State of NJ out of High School to pushing dead bodies to a hospital morgue. However, he believed God had a bigger plan for his life and began living as it was so.  He got back to playing college football, only to get injured, struggle with addictions, and depression but once again he heard from God.

Through allowing God's calling over his life and living for God, Walter found purpose and hope.  He shares how being surrounded by people who loved and cared for him, allowed him to begin to rebuild his life and live for the glory of God.  We were created to be relational beings and we discuss the importance of finding your community and not allowing our past failures to keep us from staying connected.

We have learned in our personal lives how living in God's will and being in relationship with God first, has been the key to our successes in life. In Part 2, for next weeks episode we'll dive deeper into how following instructions and seeing the signs in our life of where we need change is so important.
